Fire Flow Test

A fire flow test is a procedure used to measure the water pressure and flow rate in a specific section of a water distribution system. It is commonly conducted to ensure there is sufficient water supply for firefighting purposes and to assess the overall capacity of the water system.

To request a fire flow test, you must fill out Form 195 for Single Family Dwellings or Form 196 for Other than Single Family Dwellings from the LA County Fire Department. The latest version of this form can be downloaded by visiting LA County Fire Department's website. This form can be emailed to the District at kid@kidwater.info.

Upon receipt of your completed Form 195, the District will determine whether a refundable deposit of $900 is required to proceed.

If a deposit is required, it must be paid by check only, made payable to Kinneloa Irrigation District. You may submit your check by:

  • Mailing it to the address below
  • Dropping it in one of our courtesy drop boxes
