On July 1, 2025, the District Board of Directors adopted Resolution 2025-07-02-1 , granting the District the authority to implement and enforce a Cross-Connection Control Program. This Resolution provides the District legal authority to take corrective actions to protect the integrity of the water distribution system from actual or potential cross-connections. This includes instances when a customer fails to comply in a timely manner with the District’s requirements regarding corrective actions or the installation, inspection, field testing, or proper maintenance of backflow protection assemblies (BPAs).
